To fulfill its main mission of providing charitable donation to hospitals and medical facilities which provide free heart-related treatments to children whose families cannot otherwise afford to pay for the treatment, EHCY donated $20,000 worth of medical consumables to the Cardiac Center – Ethiopia. The consumables contain critically needed perfusion packages used to perform open-heart surgery. Thanks to your generous donation the Cardiac Center will continue treating children who desperately need lifesaving open heart surgery. The Center will be able to perform the surgery for 30 children.
During the handover ceremony the CEO of the Cardiac Center, Ato Hiruy Ali, expressed his appreciation by saying, “Thank You again for your support and dedication to save the lives of children with heart disease.”
In addition to this donation, EHCY has also donated $1500 to be divided among three qualifying high school students of William Hart High School District, where Eyob studied (or was high school student.)
